Poliart urgently needed custom software to optimize processes and workflows for the factory plant that manufactures boxes and corrugated products.
- The system begins with a quotation, which generates data through mathematical formulas for the creation of boxes and trays, depending on the type of packaging, paper type, paper weight, required quantities, etc. The same quotation also automatically generates paper costs, conversion costs, and production costs.
- Then, based on this data, the system allows the generation of a technical sheet with the box’s drawing and actual cutting and structural measurements for its proper production.
- The software guides us through a tracking process to generate a production order.
- The production order creates a work queue for each of the involved departments.
- And finally, it provides us with a waste report, a plant duration report, and a total project duration report from the time the first quotation was generated.
